"Consciousness rests gently upon physical realities"
Four beds made of rough milled timber: Bed 1 is the bed of daggers, (material - fired clay). Bed 2 is the bed of sticks, (material - dried clay). Bed 3 is the bed of snakes, (material - soft clay). Bed 4 is the bed of nails, (material - fired clay).

The performance is in two stages: 
Stage 1 Several clay sticks are gathered by the performer from bed 2 (bed of sticks). He then moves across to bed 2 (bed of daggers) and proceeds to break them with force upon the bed of daggers which leaves a mess of broken daggers and sticks on and around the bed.
Stage 2 The performer is now at bed 3, the bed of snakes. He carefully lifts up one of the clay snakes and takes it across to the bed of nails. He then proceeds to pierce the head of the snake into one of the nails of the bed. The performer then leaves the room.
