The aftermath of a bush-fire which has damaged and scared the earth. A new wilderness emerges to reveal an apocalyptic landscape of burnt earth and ash. This is the primeval world that the performer relishes; giving distance from the virtual reality that he abhors. He rubs his body into the dirt and ash so that both are one - truly physical. The camera, that symbol of the virtual, that metaphysical tool, is made to feel the pain of this naked physical world of dirt and ash.
